Take a look at some of our kids' and families' favorite areas of the Hansen Home for Hope in Des Moines!
Our “Family Room” (or as the kiddos call it, the “playroom”) is on the top floor of the house. Parents, feel free to take a nap up here, watch a movie, read a book, or just take a breather if needed. Meanwhile, the kids can explore in any of the three nooks full of toys, play board games, have karaoke competitions, or relax themselves.
Come hang out in our Camp Cave located in the basement of the Hansen Home for Hope. Painted with the inspiration of Camp Heart Connection in mind, the Camp Cave offers a cozy spot to watch a movie, work on art projects at the tables, or just hang out and relax!
Come hang out in our Teen Room located in the basement of the Hansen Home for Hope. Sponsored by the ladies of The Sparkle Run! This room is a perfect area for teens to come and hang out during our monthly teen hangouts or quarterly teen lock-ins! The Teen Room offers a place to play video games, watch movies, eat snacks, do homework, or just hang out and relax with friends.
Come hang out in our Art Room located in the basement of the Hansen Home for Hope. The Art Room is perfect for any age and artistic skill. This room is also a great area for our monthly Kids Club with the Des Moines Art Center where we create, construct, draw, color, and do all things crafty.
