  • Children's Cancer Connection, Iowa's premier program for families affected by childhood cancer, is actively recruiting for our next Chief Executive Officer. The CEO will be a collaborative and courageous leader who has demonstrated experience in strategic management with the ability to develop and communicate a vision of the future, set priorities, and produce measurable long-term results. The selected candidate must have a minimum of ten years non-profit experience or related experience and the ability to lead successful fundraising efforts and cultivate relationships with donors, community leaders, and foundations; must be an exceptional communicator, motivator, and leader of staff and volunteers; must be able to build strategic alliances with other non-profits and community organizations; and have experience in business planning, developing, and operating budgets and management of non-profit finances. The selected candidate will work with families, volunteers and staff to provide exceptional programs and services for families affected by childhood cancer in and around Iowa. This individual will communicate the vision of the mission as well as secure support and resources to enable and facilitate the mission and vision.

  • As part of the Children’s Cancer Connection family, the Administrative Assistant for the Program Team is responsible for assisting the Program Team with the details involved in planning, implementing and scheduling events and activities for the children and families we serve. The Administrative Assistant for the Program Team provides excellent communication skills when engaging with team members, families and outside resources.

    The Administrative Assistant for the Program Team provides excellent organizational skills and attention to details. This position supports the team as assigned by overseeing the operational details of program events and events hosted by third parties. In addition, they will assist the program team by providing data entry, logistical coordination, and communication with vendors as assigned. They will also make themselves available to attend evening and weekend events as needed.

  • The Program Event and Activities Manager is responsible for assisting the Program Team to create an amazing experience for children and their families affected by childhood cancer. The Program Events and Activities Manager embraces the core values of Children’s Cancer Connection and strives to be a caring presence for all we serve. The Program Event and Activities Manager works together with the Program Team to plan, organize and implement all programs and events from start to finish.

Children’s Cancer Connection is seeking energetic outgoing individuals to serve on our Development Team.  Our Donor Engagement team represents the organization to companies and individuals to share opportunities for them to impact the lives of families affected by childhood cancer.  This is a sales role which will include research, presentation, and follow up.
