Teenage years are hard enough as it is — add cancer in the mix, and it is a whole new situation. Teens get together to hang out, attend outings and be with other teens who can truly say, “I know what you mean.” Events will be planned either at Children's Cancer Connection Hansen Home for Hope, or a fun outing around central Iowa. For teens affected by cancer and their teen siblings.
Check our calendar or contact Camp@ChildrensCancerConnection.org for more information about our teen events.

A program of Children’s Cancer Connection and Blank Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, Comfort Connection gives families the opportunity to visit with others who have lost a child. Those who’ve had a recent loss can share what the family is experiencing. Those who’ve experienced holidays and milestones without their loved one can help others understand how to get through them. Comfort Connection meets the second Tuesday of every month from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.at the Hansen Home for Hope, 2708 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa.
